The CFB Esquimalt Power Boat Club normally hosts a windup function on the last day of each of the fishing derbies, to coincide with the awarding of prizes. The Entertainment Committee arranges varied culinary delights at no charge to club members.
The Father’s Day / Kid’s Fishing Derby provides an excellent opportunity for Father’s and Kids to enjoy an excellent morning of fishing followed by a fun BBQ and prizes for all participants.
Starting in 2016-2017, the club started hosting 4 very successful “Cruiser Events”. Due to the success of these events, it was decided to add an additional event, so starting with the 2017-2018 fiscal year, the club will plan on hosting 5 Cruiser Events per year.
